Wildhoney

Live music - Band history
Following changes to the back line in 2004, the time was right to change the name of the band. So after many a sleepless night, oh OK then, a few nights down the pub deliberating, in March 2005 the door was closed on Indiana Blue and Wildhoney was born.

So how did the band get together in the first place then? Well, Graham and Helen had originally played together in an Abba tribute band, called Bjorn Free. However, it wasn't too long before they decided to leave, along with Tomos, another member of Bjorn Free, and form a covers band in 2002, 'Only Natural'. This was an acoustic set up which soon became 'Indiana Blue' which was more rock orientated and, more importantly, electric, and acquired a drummer, Guy. September 2002 saw Indian Blue's debut at a private Rock n Roll party.

After about 18 months of successful gigging, Indiana Blue experienced a couple of major changes to the back line in 2004. Guy left and was replaced by Dave C in February, and later that year Dave G replaced Tomos.

Major changes maybe, but one of the smoothest transitions ever. Dave C and Dave G knew each other from old, having played together in 'Freeloader' and 'Blencathra'. Only a couple of months after Dave G joined, the band was ready to gig, and played at a private party in St Albans.

The band's notable achievements to date include Christmas, Birthday parties and Weddings, and the annual summer barbeque at Great Walstead School. The band will play a repeat performance (3rd year) at the school in June 2005.
Some public performances are planned, though yet to be confirmed - keep an eye on this web site for more details.
