Live music - Dave Clark
Dave Clark
Dave Clark - aka DC - started playing drums at the age of 17. His first band was Across The Frontier which was a soft rock band which went nowhere. Next he formed a band with the bass player from across the frontier and asked Tim the guitarist to join. After going through a few singers, Dave Goodchild joined fresh from college. The bass player left because of the noise factor and another Dave joined the band on bass. Tim left to have babies and three of us were left. The band had gained a name of Freeloader. It played late sixties early seventies rock, e.g. Free, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep. The bass player moved to Bristol and Dave Goodchild’s wife Lydia had a baby and Dave Clark got a new job. Because of the amount of time needed for a rock band both Dave's decided to form Blencathra. He then joined Fat boy Tim a band formed by his old friend Tim which was simular to Freeloader. Again the band was let down by the bass player and the band split. In March 2004 he joined Wildhoney which was know as Indiana Blue at the time

He also plays in a barn dance band, "Hangman's Acre" which he has been in about 12 years
